Keane enjoys Bath with True Self
Champion jockey Colin Keane enjoyed a trip to Bath racecourse today where he added another winner to his tally, this time for trainer Willie Mullins.
Keane was on board True Self for Mullins and maintained a 100 per cent winning record after landing a Cork maiden two weeks ago.
Today True Self romped home in the Listed Beckford Stakes over a mile and three-quarters.
True Self had run just twice previously on the flat and was a bumper and hurdle winner and at Bath today cruised past long-time leader Altra Vita over two furlongs out and won unchallenged by three lengths.
This was winner number four Keane this week after a double at Gowran on MOnday and one at Navan on Sunday.
