Designer Beatles chair in Lennon auction

Milltown Country Auction Rooms host a very interesting auction on Monday 26th November. Items to appear include a Beatles Chair - a one of a kind designer piece. With arms and seat covered with Andrew Martin fabric, the seat pad is the famous four themselves and the arm rest is a print of the poster from when they played in Abergavenney. 

This is a one of a kind chair, estimated at €400 - 600; also oil on board by John Atkinson Grimshaw (1836 - 1893), an English Victorian artist who had been called a remarkable and imaginative painter, best known for his noctural scenes of urban landscapes (€5,000 - €8000); a very fine Brocade Militery Jacket as seen in Maroon 5's music video featuring Christina Aguilera - 'Moves Like Jagger', Cold Stream Guards - drummers jacket (€500 - €700); 1930s army bicycle with gun carrier together with a signal lamp (€300 - €500); vintage Players Navy Cut Advertising sign colour lithograph with the main scene of a ship after J M Brown (€250 - €350); 19th century carved figure, (€300 - €500). Victorian ebonised walnut and inlaid three door credenza with two doors inlaid with urns and flowers, brass mounted with three porcelain plaques (€600 - €800).
