Eco-friendly festival at Slane as Earth Fest rocks this weekend
Now in its third year, Earth Fest Ireland is returning to Shalvanstown organic farm near Slane. From Friday 9th until Sunday 11th June the venue will host a whole new Irish festival experience with wellness treatments, outdoor sauna, yoga, dance, drumming, theatre, biodynamics and eco talks, organic food and a full music line-up of local, national and international acts including Nix Moon and Rónán Ó'Snodaigh of Kíla.
Earth Fest is a family-friendly festival with lots of kids’ activities including storytelling, face painting, outdoor games, circus acts, craft and music workshops etc. As an alternative to the beer soaked messiness of many festivals, the event is alcohol-free until 7pm each evening. Earth Fest is all about and getting back to nature and re-connecting with the community spirit. Everyone is encouraged to bring along an instrument, song or poem etc to share around the fire together.
