St Oliver's and Boyne lose but St Pat's win today
St Oliver's Oldcastle were out of luck today in the North Leinster SF B first round when they were well beaten by Gallen CS, Ferbane.
Gallen forged ahead in the opening half and enjoyed a 1-11 to 0-4 advantage at the interval after St Oliver's squandered some early goal chances.
Gallen went on to win by 2-20 to 2-8 with a fine team performance.
Boyne CS, Trim also found the going tough in the same competition when they lost to Louth opposition as St Mary's, Drogheda inflicted a thee-point defeat in a high-scoring game that produced 10 goals.
St Mary's won by 5-10 to 5-7.
In the Leinster PP Sch Juv F A Shield final today there was a victory for St Patrick's CS, Navan by double scores, 4-10 to 2-5 against St Mel's, Longford.
