Three for Lyons and Keane at Naas
The combination of Ger Lyons and Colin Keane delivered a treble at Naas yesterday to maintain the good form that runners from the Kiltale stable have displayed this year.
Noivado, Doctor Geoff and Territory were the winners for Lyons and Keane with the trainer moving on to 46 winners for the season as he continues to close in on third place in the table - he is currently two winners behind third-placed Jim Bolger.
Trim jockey Colin Keane is now on 63 winners for the season, two less than his total for last season, as the former champion apprentice continues to enhance his reputation,
The win of Noivado (owned by Sean Jones) provided some solace for the owner as another horse he owns, Psychedelic Funk, sustained an injury in training yesterday morning.
Lyons and Keane will be back in action at the Curragh today in the opening race with Noble Intention.
