All-Ireland success for Meath duo

Meath players Daniel O'Neill and Ronan Jones featured yesterday evening for DCU in the All-Ireland Freshers final against University of Ulster Jordanstown (UUJ) and were on the winning side in a 4-11 to 1-6 victory.

O'Neill is from the Wolfe Tones club and lined out at full-back and Jones is from the Dunboyne club and was at midfield.

Both played minor for Meath this year and last night were part of the All-Ireland-winning DCU Freshers Gaelic team that defeated UUJ at Corduff in Monaghan.

This was a great achievment as the team was unbeaten throughout the League campaign.
