Elliott winner at Limerick
Gordon Elliott shaped up for Cheltenham next week where he will have up to 23 runners over the four days with a winner at Limerick today.
Elliott was on the mark today with Double Scores in a maiden hurdle for owners Gigginstown having previously won a point-to-point and Bryan Cooper had the steering duties.
'It was a weak race and he'll stay going during the summer in handicaps and novices. He'll also jump a fence sooner rather than later,” stated the trainer who has two runners in the opening Supreme Novices Hurdle on Tuesday in Ball D'arc and Tombstone – both owned by Gigginstown.
