David Coldrick is to take charge of the All-Ireland Senior Football Final.

Meath refs for allireland senior and minor finals

The GAA has confirmed that Meath referees and match officials will take charge of the All-Ireland Senior and Minor Football finals on 20th September, with David Coldrick confirmed as the referee for the senior final, his third third All-Ireland.

Batterstown man Coldrick will take charge of the All-Ireland Senior final between Dublin and Kerry, while Slane's David Gough will officiate in the Minor game between Kerry and Tipperary.

David Coldrick, a member of the Blackhall Gaels club, has also refereed the All-Ireland Senior final in 2007 between Cork and Kerry and the 2010 final between Cork and Down.

In this year’s football championship, Coldrick has refereed the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final between Kerry and Kildare, the Ulster Senior Football Final between Monaghan and Donegal, Leinster Football Semi-Final between Dublin and Kildare and the Ulster Football Quarter-Final involving Armagh and Donegal.

His umpires on the day will be Seamus McCormack (Walterstown), Stephen O’Hare (Syddan), Conor Dourneen (Ballinagh, Co Cavan) and James Matthews (Cortown).

David Gough, who will be officiating the All-Ireland Minor Championship Final, is a member of the Slane club, and also refereed the U21 final in 2013 between Cork and Galway.


In this year’s football championship, Gough has refereed the Senior All-Ireland Quarter Final between Donegal and Mayo, and Senior Qualifier games between Tipperary and Tyrone, Armagh and Galway, Cavan and Roscommon and Longford and Carlow.

His umpires on the day will be Eugene Gough, Stephen Gough, Dean Gough, (all Slane) and Ronan Garry (Walterstown).
