Meath supporters may not have to travel too far for 2016 Leinster opener
Meath supporters may not have too far to travel for the 2016 Leinster SFC quarter-final as the county footballers will face Louth or Carlow on Sunday 12th JUne at either Parnell Park or Pairc Tailteann.
If it's Meath v Carlow the game will be in Navan and if it's Meath v Louth the game will be in Parnell Park in Dublin.
Meath's game is scheduled a week after provincial champions Dublin travel to Kilkenny's Nowlan Park to tackle Laois or Wicklow in one of the other quarter-finals.
That Dublin game against Laois or Wicklow on Saturday 4th June will be televised at 7pm.
Leinster GAA delegates voted in favour of moving Dublin outside of Croke Park for the first time since 2006 with 22 of the 28 delegates in favour of the proposal.
The Leinster SFC will start on Saturday 14th May with a double header at O'Moore Park, Portlaoise with the final first round game the following day.
