Navan survive Thomond comeback

Navan maintained their place among the leaders in the AIL Div 2B when they defeated Thomond 22-16 at Balreask Old today. Leon Jordaan's side led 14-3 at the break with the help of a touchdown from Leigh Jackson, a penalty try and two conversions by Alan Hickey. However, Thomond came back strongly in the second-half and at one stage reduced the deficit to three points but a Tommy Geraghty try and a late Hickey penalty helped Navan seal the win.
