Clynch in Ireland panel

Kilmessan's Stephen Clynch will feature for Ireland today against Scotland in the first Test of the 2012 Hurling/Shinty International Series at Bught Park, Inverness, 1.15. The series has been contested over two legs since 2010 and Ireland have won out narrowly on each occasion, by an aggregate of four points in 2010 and six in 2011. Scotland have performed better on Irish soil winning the first leg of the 2010 series by 2-16 to 2-15 at Croke Park in the curtainraiser for the International Rules game between Ireland and Australia.
