Gordon Elliott moved on to the 53-winner mark for the season when Roman Gold took the Cashel Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel today as the Longwood-based handler maintained his good strike rate with Gigginstown ammunition.
Roman Gold was 11/8 joint-favourite and won comfortable for jockey Bryan Cooper who had an easy six lengths to spare at the post.
