Flanagan sidelined by injury
Clonard and Meath midfielder Adam Flanagan has been sidelined with a cruciate knee injury and will be out of action for up to nine months it has emerged.
The injury is another setback for Clonard who have endured a poor season in both the A FL and the JFC.
Flanagan sustained the injury in a A FL Div 4 game against Dunsany which his team lost by four points.
The Clonard player lined out for Meath on 12 occasions this year, starting 11 times and once as a substitute - he scored one point in those 12 appearances.
He made his Leinster SFC debut in the quarter-final against Wicklow.
This weekend Clonard will face Dunboyne in the fourth round of the JFC without their top county man.
