Kacper zeberek hits six goals for johnstown
Johnstown striker Kacper Zeberek scored six goals in his team’s 7-1 victory over Newtown Utd in the Meath & District League Div 2 encoutner on Sunday and has now joined a group of players to have achieved that feat with their club's first team in the MDL.
Zeberek became the first Johnstown player to score six goals at senior level, but we are now trying to establish the list of players who have previously achieved that feat.
We have the names of some of the players - Jody Devine and Tom Keague are just two, but we are struggling to complete the list.
Maybe someone connected with the MDL would have access to the information.
Back 1997 Navan Town player Timmy O'Sullivan scored a hat-trick on four successive weekends in Div 4 for Navan Town.
The first was achieved against Cortown (no longer in the MDL), the following weekend it was against Clonee Utd (no longer in the MDL).
The hat-trick of hat-tricks was completed against Chestnut Rovers (no longer in the MDL) and Timmy made it four hat-tricks in four weeks against Abbey Celtic - who still play in the MDL.
Any other remarkable scoring feats?
