Strong team for tonights obyrne cup test
Meath manager Mick O'Dowd has selected a strong team for tonight's third round O'Byrne Cup game against DCU at Navan's Pairc Tailteann, throw-in 7pm where victory or a draw will earn a place in the semi-finals.
Another competitive game next weekend would probably suit the manager and his selectors as they prepare for the first round of the NFL Div 2 with an away tie against Galway on Saturday 1st February next.
For tonight's game Graham Reilly starts after missing the midweek victory over Longford and Joey Wallace, a substitute introduction against Longford also starts.
Ciaran McConnell from junior club Bective starts in the half-back line.
Entry is by ticket and supporters are advised to allow sufficient time to queue for tickets before approaching the turnstiles at the Commons Road / car park end of the ground
