Countdown

The countdown is on to the next Meath GAA Co Board meeting on Monday 9th February with the eagerly-awaited draws for the club football and hurling championships scheduled for Aras Táilteann at 8pm.

The Co Board meeting will take place at 7.30pm and with the draws set to go live on local radio from 8.05pm there will not be too much time for delegates to have a whinge about the early scheduling of the A FL and B FL competitions which are due this weekend and next weekend respectively.

Expect to see a lot of unfit players lumbering around the football pitches in Meath this weekend and also a smaller number of supporters making the trip to Galway for the NFL Div 2 game on Sunday.

Regarding the championships draws - who will win and who will be in relegation trouble for 2015 when the games throw in for thes erious action in April.
