Mdl friday focus

There's plenty of cup and league action for Meath teams both on the home front and further afield this weekend.

Navan Cosmos have made a very bright start to their MDL Premier campaign and they have carried that form onto the provincial stage.

They racked up a massive 8-1 win over Kildare side Castle Villa last week in the Leinster Junior Cup.

Now they look to make progress in the FAI Junior Cup when they take on Laois side Rosenallis at the MDL tonight.

They are one of a number of Meath teams involved in the competition this weekend with Trim Celtic, Torro Utd and Castle Villa due to play on Sunday.

The league action continues with Duleek taking on Woodview in the only Premier game of the weekend.
