Double header at pairc tailteann next sunday
Pairc Tailteann in Navan will host a double header on Sunday with Meath hurlers opening their defence of the Kehoe Cup at 12.15 and that will be followed by the eagerly-awaited O'Byrne Cup semi-final between Meath and Dublin at 2pm.
The curtainraiser will give Meath supporters a chance to get behind the hurlers and new manager Martin Ennis when they tackle St Patrick's Mater Dei.
That will be followed by the football and Meath Co Board officials are expecting a big crowd for the visit of the reigning Leinster champions.
Admission will be ticket only and supporters can purchase tickets in advance of Sunday's game at SuperValu outlets locally and also at Jack Kiernan's in Navan.
Tickets will also be on sale at the ground on Sunday with ticket booths open from 11.30 - the turnstiles at Brews Hill and Commons Road car park will be open.
The advice is to turn up early.
