Youngster pleads on road condition
Dear sir - I am writing to complain about my road. I live in Rathbran Church and my road is when you turn at Cooks Cross coming from Lobinstown. You will know as it will be the only one with potholes. I got a new bike from Santa last Christmas and I am unable to ride it on the road what should I ask Santa for this year?… A rough terrain vehicle? Mum and Dad bought two new cars and they think if the road doesn't get fixed soon they might also get rough terrain vehicles. I reckon it might be the worst road in Ireland. My Granny is 90 years old and she lives with me. When she is sick and the doctor comes he constantly complains about the road. My granny gets home help and they also complain. I wrote a letter about the road before and I was told my road would be fixed. I am sick of empty promises so please fix my road. Yours, Kate Meade, (age 11) Rathbran Church, Lobinstown, Navan.
