Night of one act plays in Navan on Friday

Navan Theatre Group is continuing its programme to encourage all members to take on different roles within the group - directing, acting, production and marketing. This year it is presenting a night of one act plays. There will be five short plays and two monologues directed by Robert Clarke, Deirdre Doyle, Paula Gibney and Des Lynch. Members are currently enjoying the rehearsals and looking forward to the performance. The night will also include the successful one act play ‘Dope’, written by Ciara Cassoni and directed by Des Lynch. This short play won the best new playwright award in the Cork Arts Theatre Playwriting Competition in February 2014.  The group is promising an entertaining night of drama in an informal and relaxed setting. All are welcome and tickets €7 are available at the door on Friday 23rd May, beginning 8pm.
