Athboy RFC seek to generate funds

The names of the Leinster players who won the Rabo Pro 12 trophy last May are autographed on a ball that is currently being auctioned by Athboy Rugby Club.

The ball was kindly donated by Joe Schmidt the former Leinster coach who is now in charge of the national side. 

Also available in the auction is a Leinster jersey, also signed by the players.
The auction is taking place on Ebay and at the time of writing 84 euro was the best offer for the ball while 259 euro was offered for the jersey. The auction will continue until Sunday, 11th August.

The proceeds from the auction will go towards the Athboy Mums’ fundraising group who are raising money for St John’s Cancer Ward in Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin and the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire.
