Cosmos need more!

There was no joy for Navan Cosmos in the Meath & District Premier League last night when they lost in Dundalk against Muirhevnamor as the hosts won by an impressive 4-1 scoreline.

Cosmos were already out of contention at the interval as the hosts scored three times with Lee Duffy on the mark for the Navan side.

Thomas McShane and Ryan Dillon each scored twice for the hosts.

With the MDL moving kick-off times this weekend to 1.45 to facilitate the All-Ireland SFC final between Mayo and Dublin on Sunday, a debate has started on the MDL Facebook page about whether times will be changed for the FAI Cup semi-final between Drogheda Utd and Dundalk on Sunday 6th October.
