O'Mahonys issue a championship warning
Navan O'Mahonys sounded a warning to the other clubs in the race for the Keegan Cup when they demolished Seneschalstown in tonight first round tie at Pairc Tailteann.
O'Mahonys were 2-8 to 0-3 ahead at the interval with the goals coming from Paddy Smyth's penalty and David Bray while Stephen Bray added a third goal in the second-half.
There was a shock for Dunboyne tonight when they lost to Duleek/Bellewstown by two points (1-12 to 1-14) while in the other SFC game Blackhall defeated Oldcastle by 0-11 to 0-8.
IFC
Ballinabrackey beat Kilmainham by 2-9 to 0-10 and in the same group, Castletown beat St Michael's 0-17 to 1-9. Ballivor also won with a 2-16 to 1-7 margin against Carnaross in Navan.
JFC
There was a lucky escape for Cortown who had to battle for a draw (1-11 each) against Summerhill in Bohermeen where Dunsany were hammered by Drumconracth as they lost by 1-6 to 2-13.
Junior B FC
Duleek / Bellewstown won by 8-18 to 1-5 against St Paul's.
