Lynch on the mark at Down Royal
Andrew Lynch was on the mark at Down Royal yesterday with the Henry de Bromhead-trained House Rules in a handicap chase.
Second to Baily Green in a grade three at Roscommon last October, the winner was running in a handicap for the first time and won well from He's Our Man and the Noel Meade-trained dark Porspect in third.
Meade was also in the winners' enclosure when Johannisberger won a beginners' chase.
Gordon Elliott completed a double with Baby Grey in the last and the well-regarded Bondage in a hurdle.
Stamullen trainer Peter Casey won the opener as he maintained his good recent form.
