Meath - Dublin Leinster final
Meath will play Dublin in the Leinster SFC final at Croke Park on Sunday 14th July after the Dubs recorded a 4-16 to 1-9 victory over Kildare in the second semi-final at Croke Park this afternoon.
Dublin were ahead by 2-7 to 1-5 at the break and will be odds-on to retain their provincial title when they tackle the Royal County in front of what should be a full house at Croke Park in a fortnight.
There will be no pressure on Meath going into the decider as they have already achieved their targets for 2013 - promotion and a provincial final.
However, the Meath players will be eager to make amends for the disappointment of losing narrowly last year against Dublin.
The Meath team has shown gradual improvement in each game so far and the prospects of a shock for the Dubs cannot be ruled out.
There could be a Meath - Dublin double header at Croke Park on 14th July as the minors semi-finals will take place this Saturday with Meath playing Westmeath in Navan and Dublin tackling Kildare in Parnell Park.
