Senior football and hurling finals scheduled

Meath GAA fixtures committee announced this week that the SFC final will be played on Sunday 20th October and the SHC decider will be on Sunday 6th October.

With the hurling championship set to resume this weekend and the football campaign getting back underway the following weekend it will be all systems go for clubs as the business end of the championships shape up.

The resumption of the football championships may clash with Eminem playing Slane on Saturday 17th August.

Round five of the hurling championships are scheduled for 24th and 25th August.

The following round of football fixtures will take place over Electric Picnic weekend on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September.

The weekend of the All-Ireland SHC final on 8th September will feature SHC and IHC quarter-finals.

The football championship quarter-finals will be on the weekend of 14th and 15th September with the hurling semi-finals a week later and the football semi-finals on 28th/29th September.

UNDER-AGE COACHING

This weekend club officials are reminded that the u-12 and u-13 Schools of Excellence coaching session at 10 am Saturday 10th August for both age groups will continue at Dunganny.
