Meath into All-Ireland semi-final

Reigning Premier Junior champions from 2012, Meath qualified for the All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship semi-final with an emphatic victory against Wexford at Ratoath on Saturday afternoon by 1-24 to 0-5.

Meath will now play Limerick in the last four as part of a double header next month - on Saturday 24th August.

Aileen Donnelly scored Meath's goal in the first minute.

“My plea now would be for the people who went to Croke Park last year for the All-Ireland final to get to the semi-final next month in large numbers,' commented Meath manager John Davis.

“Support will be vital if we are going to upset the odds against Limerick and it would be a great boost for the players to have plenty of backing and green and gold flags at the semi-final,' he added.
