Kells Stock funds handover

In October, a number of Kells bands, new and old, got together to raise funds for two charities, the Jack and Jill Foundation and the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre in Drogheda, at the Vibe nightclub in the Headfort Arms Hotel. The acts performing were Ham Sandwich, The Vanwinkles, Antony Cregan (with members of Little Palace), Slump, Fiona Melady, Moe-Joe, Black, The Cherries and Fred Cooke (comedian). Over €10,000 was raised. Presentation of the cheques took place before Christmas to the two beneficiaries.
