228-unit housing proposal for Ratoath

Plans for a 228 unit housing development at Jamestown Ratoath have been lodged with An Bord Pleanala.

Sherwood Homes Ratoath Ltd have made a Strategic Housing Development application to An Bord Pleanala for the development, which will also include a childcare facility and all other ancillary site development works.

The proposed development will consist of 19 one bedroom units, 68 two bedroom units, 133 three bedroom units and eight four bedroom units,

The housing units will come in a mix of unit types including 88 semi detached , six detached and 11 terraced.

It will also include nine independent living units and 52 apartments in four or five storey apartment buildings and 32 duplexes.

The development will also include a three storey childcare facility and outdoor play area.
