Trim Celtic player set for top NEFL award
Trim Celtic will scoop the the 2019 North East Football League player of the year award next Sunday night.
Three Trim Celtic players are nominated for the award, Paddy Brophy, Jack O'Keefe and Colm Carney.
The trio are all expected to attend the ceremony at the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan on Sunday evening after their FAI Junior Cup sixth round tie at the MDL against Ferrybank FC (2pm).
The manager of the year and club of year will also be announced at the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan next Sunday evening, but the identity of those recipients will only be revealed on Sunday night.
JACK O'KEEFFE IS A CONTENDER FOR PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The awards will be presented at a social function that is scheduled for around 6pm following the conclusion of the annual general meeting which is set to start at 4pm.
The top two awards will be announced on the night, but there will also be divisional player awards and the short-list for each grade has been released.
There will not be an award in Div 4 where no votes were received from the clubs in that grade.
