Wexford opposition for Clann na nGael
Wexford Intermediate A champions Rathgarogue Cushinstown (Rath Cush GAA) will face Meath JFC champions Clann na nGael in the Leinster Club JFC final.
Clann na nGael recorded a thrilling 2-8 to 1-10 win against Kildare champons Ballymore Eustace at Trim yesterday.
Today, Rath Cush defeated Offaly intermediate champions Shannonbridge at O'Kennedy Park, New Ross by 1-8 to 0-7.
The Wexford men were ahead by 0-4 to 0-2 at the interval, but it was level at the three-quarter stage (0-6 each) when Rath Cush managed that all-important goal that helped them on the way to victory.
The final will be played on Saturday 7th December or Sunday 8th December.
"This is just a massive for us to win a Leinster semi-final and we're in a Leinster final, a brilliant year for the club," commented Clann na nGael manager Tom Hanley after yesterday's win in Trim.
