Kells sharpshooters on target to take the spoils

Members of C Company, 65 Reserve Infantry Battalion, based in Kells, enjoyed great success at the 2nd Eastern Brigade, Reserve Defence Forces Shooting Competitions. The brigade covers the counties of Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Meath, Dublin and Wicklow. The company's rifle team had won the 65 Reserve Infantry Battalion Rifle Competition, earning the right to represent the battalion in the brigade competition held at Kilbride Ranges, held on Saturday 2nd April. The team consists of six firers who had a combined score of 755. They have now qualified to compete in the All-Army competitions.
