Meath win Gerry Reilly Cup
Meath won the 30th anniversary final of the Leinster u-16 Gerry Reilly FT Cup at MIllbrook tonight with a 2-11 to 2-10 win against Dublin
This was an all-action encounter with Dublin pushing Meath all the way, but the Royal County boys stood strong
and held on for a memorable victory.
Goals ine ach half from the talented Alan Bowden were crucial as were some excellent points from Eoghan Frayne.
The tournament commemorates the late Gerry Reilly and his mother was on hand to make the presentation of the trophy to
Meath captain Ciaran Caulfield.
