Dunsany/Kilmessan parish loses oldest resident

The parish of Dunsany and Kilmessan lost its most senior member at the weekend with the death, in her 100th year, of Mrs Margaret Donohoe, Killeen. Mrs Donohoe passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, after a week-long illness. The last surviving member of the Englishby family of Pluckstown, Athboy, she was aunt of Meath County Council cathaoirleach, Cllr Liz McCormack. Mrs Donohoe celebrated her 99th birthday last October. Wife of the late James, she is survived by her son, Peter, daughter-in-law, Dolores (Hanbury), grandchildren, John, Mary, Ann Marie and Deirdre, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
