Christy Ring Cup game in Trim

Meath will play Down in the semi-final of the Christy Ring Cup this Saturday with the throw-in timed for 3pm. 

 

Meath qualified directly for the last four with a quarter-final victory against Kildare in extra-time at Newbridge two weeks ago.

Down made it into the quarter-finals with a 1-20 to 1-11 win against Armagh before defeating Derry by 3-7 to 0-9 last Saturday as they got back into the competition.

The last time the sides met in the Christy Ring Cup Down won by 2-23 to 1-9, but this year Meath defeated Down in the NHL Div 2B in Newry by 2-16 to 1-18.
