Jimmy Henry's yellow card for Chronicle

He was one of the most popular referees in Meath until he retired some years ago, but Jimmy Henry held on to his cards and handed out a yellow one to the Meath Chronicle this morning.
 
The fixtures for Thursday 30th May appeared in our A-Z page this week for 7pm and should have been 7.30pm.
 
Clubs should also note that the hurling championships will now start a week later than previously planned by the Fixtures Committee.
 
The following notices were received from Jimmy Henry.
 
TIME CLARIFICATION
Please be advised All Championship fixtures for Thursday, 30th May 2013 will take place at 7.30 p.m. as per fixture list that was sent out and not 7.00 p.m. that is published in the Meath Chronicle.
 
DATE CHANGE
Please be advised first round of Meath Hurling Championships will now commence weekending 23rd June  2013 and not 15th June that was previously advised.
 
Please be advised there is a change to the fixture planner . 
 
Please see the following:-
W/E 16th June will now be a football weekend ie. J.F'A', J.F. 'B' J.F. 'C'. & J.F. 'D' & Feis Cup & Tailteann Cup.
 
Some league matches may be played where possible.

Thanks for the information Jimmy, we will be looking for a hearing in relation to the yellow card which we feel is very harsh for a first offence???
