Bull sculpture arrives on Market Square

The long-awaited bull sculpture has arrived on Navan's Market Square, a decade after the idea was first instigated. Navan Town Council workers erected the piece, created by Galway-based Colin Grehan, on Market Square on Tuesday. The stonework was then covered up in advance of an official unveiling. Full coverage of the arrival of the monument is in this Wednesday's Meath Chronicle. Pictured by Barry Cronin are sculptor Colin Grehan (left) and Mike Hurley (McNally crane supervisor) making last minute adjustments at the erection of the piece.
