Meath VEC is hosting a very special night in the Solstice Arts Centre on the Thursday and Friday, 29th and 30th January. Last year, the first musical extravaganza took place to mark the centenary of the founding of the Meath County Joint Committee of Technical Instruction, the precursors of the Vocational Education Commttee. It will be a night that will not be forgotten in Meath for a long time. Those lucky enough to have seen some of the rehearsals have commented on the extraordinary abilities of the young people. There are over 150 people involved in the production from all over the county. This exciting project is the latest innovative education development initiative from Meath VEC which believes that music and performance are an important part of the social and emotional development of young people.
