Appeal to support Dáil hospital rally
Dear sir - Tomorrow (Thursday 20th January), our hospital and our community needs help and support outside Dail Eireann, Kildare Street, Dublin to help protect its future and the future of the health services available to us all in the north east. When people come to join us at 1pm on Thursday outside the Dail, they will be joining with members of Meath IFA and ICA, members of the Meath County Committee of the GAA and Ceoltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, Meath and District League members, members of Navan Shamrock Festival, the Meath River Rescue, the Dunderry Fair Committee, the Scurlogstown Olympiad, and Active Retirement groups, the Arch club members plus many more as we as a collective group of concerned citizen unite as one community with one voice to place our hospital back in the public eye to protect its future. All are welcome and urged to attend. Free buses are available from the Fair Green Navan, Trim and Kells but please confirm with any hospital committee member if one intends availing of these buses as this will give us a chance to arrange for the number of bus seats required . Thanks to good friends of the hospital campaign such as the members of Ceoltas Ceoltoiri Eireann and the Dunderry Fair committee this promises to be an assembly with a difference. Those who are available to assemble on this very important unique occasion will be treated to a session of traditional Irish music and dance plus live on Kildare Street in their purpose built set, 'The Riordans' will once again enter our lives with a critical message of hope and of course scealta agus craic. Our wish is to create a complete fun family friendly environment with a serious message for the HSE and others. Our health is our wealth and our hospital is our community and will be protected while good people walk the streets and roads of County Meath. Yours, Paddy Pryle, Save Navan Hospital Committee, Castleview, Athlumney, Navan.
