Priest is entitled to view

Dear sir - How dare College Proteins try to dictate to our bishops and priests and attempt to get them to tow the line and keep quiet in order to facilitate financial gain to the detriment of local people and this local area (Meath Chronicle 18/07/09).The overwhelming majority of parishioners in this locality do not want an incinerator foisted on our community. Fair play to the priest in question, he is from the local area, and has the best interests of local people and this locality at heart. This priest has lots of experience from his work in third world countries of companies bullying authorities and ordinary people, polluting the environment and damaging health for their own profit. The priest simply made locals aware of the fact that a planning application had been made for a proposed incinerator in the local area and that people could make submissions in relation to this, if they wished. This was in reference to parish notices from local anti-incinerator groups opposed to this proposed facility, and everything he said was truthful and honest. Why does John Gilroy of College Proteins find this freedom of information such a threat? Yours, James Maguire, Kingscourt. on behalf of Kingscourt and Meath Hill Anti-incinerator Action Groups.
