Minister’s legacy in Navan

Dear Sir, What a marvelous article Minister Dempsey wrote in last week’s edition of the Meath Chronicle. He truly is the saviour of our economic woes in this county. His wisdom and foresight know no bounds. Just some questions and points for the minister. How can you sit at cabinet meetings and do nothing to save our hospital? How dare you spend tax payers money for that trip to Donegal. You never so much as even apologised to the public for such waste, but then again why would you? Do you plan on going missing this winter when the road’s all freeze over? Or will you be off in the jet getting salt supplies? The proposed increase in tolls - it’s ok for you, you can fly over them! And finally, well done in helping to decrease the live register figures in Meath. It’s just a pity you’re so blind to notice the decrease is as a result of people leaving this debt ridden country you have left us, rather than getting jobs. I would love to say all this to your face, Noel, but like the coward you are, you won’t face the electorate at the doors. Instead you send your brainwashed crew. How they can support a man who has ruined this town and county I’ll never know. But thanks for everything, Noel, your legacy is here for all to see, it’s called an empty town and empty M3. Yours, Daniel Brophy, Johnstown, Navan.
