Countdown to Cavan Hen Festival

Hens from across Co Meath are among the countless hen parties attending the 2010 Cavan Hen Weekend and Cavan Summer Festival from 18th to 20th June. This novel event has attracted hen parties from all over the country who are attending the three day event in the hopes of winning a top prize package worth over €20,000. The prize consists of a wedding reception and honeymoon which is the perfect solution for couples in these recessionary times. However, most of hen parties who have already signed up for the event are equally excited about the packed programme of events for the Cavan Summer Festival. This festival line-up includes a Mad Hatters Fancy Dress party, a massive street pageant with samba bands, live music on the streets, a world record golf ball race, pig racing, a Honda 50 run, a family fun day and much, much more.
