'The Saturdays 24/7' (ITV, Thursday, 9pm) - This access-all-areas documentary follows the five feisty members of girl band The Saturdays as they work hard and play even harder. As well as following the highs and lows of their manic schedule - gigs, photoshoots, TV appearances - we also see what goes on behind closed doors - life at home, on the road, trips abroad and much more. _________________________________________________________ 'Bubbles: My Life With Michael Jackson (CH4, Wednesday, 10pm) - This insightful documentary examines the complex relationship between Michael Jackson and possibly the most famous moonwalking chimpanzee in the world, his pet 'Bubbles'. With contributions from sister La Toya Jackson, biographer J Randy Taraborrelli, Bubbles' trainer Bob Dunn and various animal behaviour and psychology experts, this programme considers why animals, and in particular 'Bubbles', played such a huge part in Jackson's life. __________________________________________________________ 'The Yorkshire Clamper' (CH4, Friday, 7.30pm) - First-time director Leon Dean's film explores the world of Ted Evans, Britain's most notorious car clamper and the thorn in the side of the beautiful Yorkshire village of Haworth, the home of the Bronte sisters. Residents spurn him and tourists fear him, for if they are a little over time, have their tickets upside down or park slightly in another bay, car park owner Ted is ready to clamp their cars. He has been accused of immobilising a car while its driver was asleep, clamping a minibus for disabled children and even clamping the Prime Minister of Australia. __________________________________________________________ 'The Special Relationship' (BBC 2, Saturday, 9.45pm) - Nominated for five Emmy Awards, 'The Special Relationship' starring Michael Sheen, Dennis Quaid, Hope Davis and Helen McCrory as it takes a behind-the-scenes look at the unique and sometimes turbulent political relationship between newly installed Prime Minister Tony Blair and US President Bill Clinton, as the two dynamic leaders become co-stars on the world stage. Davis plays Hillary Clinton and McCrory plays Cherie Blair. The drama follows Blair's journey from political understudy waiting in the wings of the world arena to accomplished prime minister standing confidently in the spotlight of centre stage. As the drama begins, there are many similarities between Blair and Clinton, both centre-left politicians driven by personal ambition, yet equally driven by a belief that they can change the world and do a great deal of good. __________________________________________________________ Movie Of The Week: 'Alien' (CH4, Wednesday, 11.05pm) - Director Ridley Scott's gripping tale of extraterrestrial horror. Members of the mining ship Nostromo's crew do battle with a mighty alien in deep space - a world 'where no-one can hear you scream'. Claustrophobic, dark and intense, the film won an Oscar for its visual effects. Sigourney Weaver and John Hurt co-star with the nastiest monster ever seen on the big screen.
