Flexibus joins in Navan Town Centre birthday celebrations

Throughout last week, Navan Town Centre held free bingo every day as part of its birthday celebrations and the Halloween festivities. On Thursday 28th October, all patrons of the Flexibus Service joined in the celebrations and a fun day was had by all. The morning kicked off with music from the legendary Ray Murtagh and Pat Deegan and there was an interlude for bingo at 11am. This was followed by a cup of tea and some traditional barm brack. There was more music and dancing, before a further break for bubbly and birthday cake. Peadar Farrelly joined the crew on stage and the craic was hilarious. The atmosphere was at its peak and there was dancing on the mall right into the afternoon. On Sunday, the final game of bingo took place, and the 12 finalists were in for the draw for a €1,000 Navan Town Centre voucher. The draw was in typical bingo format with 12 balls going into the bingo machine. Ball number 7 was the winner, held by Caroline Ward, Windtown, Navan.
