Clynch at midfield for Christy Ring Cup

Meath manager Cillian Farrell has named Steven Clynch at midfield for tomorrow's Christy Ring Cup quarter-final against Kildare at Newbridge, 4.15.

The Kilmessan man moved to midfield in the second-half last week in a direct switch with Mark O'Sullivan who moved to centre-forward and is named in that position again for tomorrow's crucial tie.

Adam Gannon and Eoin Marsh, both named as late replacements last week, retain their positions.

The other quarter-final tomorrow is Kerry v Derry while the preliminary quarter-finals feature  Wicklow v Mayo and Armagh v Down.
