Minors set for Longford test
Meath's minor footballers will be bidding to get abck into contention in the Leinster MFC this evening when they tackle Longford at Pairc Tailteann in Navan at 7.30.
Meath slumped at home to Offaly (3-8 to 6-10) in the first roubnd while Laois defeated Longford by 1-9 to 0-6.

The Meath minor hurlers will travel to O'Moore Park, Portlaoise on Saturday for a Leinster MFC second round tie against Loais.
Laois lost the first round (tier one 1-9 to 3-20) against Kilkenny while Meath defeated Westmeath in a tier two clash.
Maurice Flynn (Kilkenny) will referee the game - throw in 3pm.
