Meath winners at Punchestown

Gordon Elliott enjoyed a visit to the winners' enclosure at Punchestown today when the Paul Carberry-partnered Roi Du Mee won a grade three chase that he won last year as well. Paul Carberry made all the running and held off the challenges of Magnanimity and Joncol from the second last. Nina Carberry made it a good day for the clan when she won the last race with the Noel Meade newcomer Heck Thomas which was sent-off at 5/6 favourite and won impressively. The trainer confirmed that the four-year-old will go hurdling next. Barry Geraghty made it a good day for the Royal County at the Kildare track when landing a grade three hurdle with the John Kenny-trained Miley Shah.
