Minister McEntee attends the Spence family funeral

The Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Meath East TD Shane McEntee, attended the funeral service and burials of Ulster rugby centre Nevin Spence, his brother Graham and his father Noel in Ballynahinch, County Down, on behalf of the agruicultural community. Mr McEntee offered condolences to the Spence family on his own behalf and on behalf of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Simon Coveney TD, who was unable to attend because of Dáil business. Mr McEntee said that farming communities throughout the island were united in shock and grief when they heard the news of the tragic deaths on the Spence family farm at the weekend.
