McGillick also claimed four points and gave a fine all-round display along with Paidin Boggins, Conor Rennicks and Karl Sheridan. Goalscorers Richard O"Sullivan and Ryan Hand worked hard for Ardcath who also had good performances from Karl McGuinness and Nicola McNally. On the way to the final Cortown recorded victories over Kilbride, Meath Hill, Ballinacree and Rathmore before they accounted for Dunsany in the semi-final.
