American tea party in Dunshaughlin

DUNSHAUGHLIN and Culmullen Parish Council recently hosted an American tea party in the community centre to raise funds for the new Resource Centre, currently being built behind the Dunshaughlin Church and due to open in September. Entertainment throughout the meal was provided by the Dunshaughlin Ceoltas group. Eamon Toal gave the dancers a great selection of music and kept the party atmosphere going well into the night. The parish council would like to thank Eamon and all the parishioners who made this event such a great success. Thanks especially to all the hostesses who went to great lengths to ensure everyone had a good time. Michael Nolan, social co-ordinator for the parish council also thanked the sponsors for their generous donation of raffle prizes. The top prize of a weekend break was won by Ead Kealy. Advance booking and details of rooms in the Resource Centre are available from Fr Clavin at the Parochial House on (01) 8259 114.
